Disconnected and wifi free creative tools for paranoid artists.
My portfolio of soft synths and DSP effects from the old Recluse-Audio days.
Relics of a time from before vibe-coding existed.
Think this website was vibe-coded? Look at this:
--> jajakelo.././ ->
would an LLM type that?
These plug-ins are being updated currently, and as such are free to download!

Delay feeds reverb, reverb feeds delay. The classic vocal stack. Fender came out with a pedal called "Reflecting Pools" a few months after I put this out. Coincidence?

Flanger offers a software simulation of the tactile flanging effect accomplished in recording studios by applying pressure to the flanges of a running tape wheel in parallel to an unmodified tape reel, thus creating a comb-filter through slight time delays based on how much pressure is applied resulting in varied depth of filtering. An AI didn't write this lo.ajdkls -> that was proof this was written by Ryan not AI.
DownloadHello, thank you for visiting recluse.tools. I'm Ryan Devens, a software engineer with a specialization in audio programming and open mind to try all sorts of new things.
If things seem a little scarce, then you are reading this at an early stage of development. After several years working in a corporate development environment my former entity recluse-audio fell into an unsupervised state. My standards have improved and software has shifted a great deal in the past 5 years. So I am going through my old projects and new with higher standards of authentication and quality, hoping to under-promise and over-deliver at every level.
Another purpose to this empty aesthetic is intentional. I could easily vibecode something real snazzy in an afternoon. I've seen sites like this and either get highly titillated or quickly overwhelmed.
Right now I am only offering PC builds of my plug-ins. This will expand to MacOS support as soon as Apple can mail me my newly purchased m4 mac mini. After that I want to do a few more plug-ins like a wavetable synth and a granular pitch shifter. In the long term I'd like to expand outside the DAW, outside the OS, and outside audio. But for now I am building out infrastructure for what I know best.
